Wish (O'Connor)

Charlie Reese has been making the same secret wish every day since the fourth grade. But when she is separated from her older sister and sent to live with family she barely knows, it seems unlikely that her wish will ever come true. With the help of a stray dog, a plucky neighbor and a big-hearted family, Charlie discovers that what she thought she wants may not at all be what she needs.

  1. Would anyone recommend this book to me? What is the topic, main character, and theme? I enjoy books that are dramatic, funny, depressing, and will keep you reading for hours into the night.

    1. I recommend this book to you because it leaves you on cliff hangers. The main character is Charlie Reese. It will keep you reading all night, because her family is not that normal.

  2. I love the book Wish!! I am about quarter way through this book and i can already tell it will be one of my favorite books this year. One of the reasons I love this book is because of Charlie the main character she has to be away from her family because her mom has to get back on her feet and he father needs to get out of jail. But I think she will learn to like the place she is staying at. If you like books with a little drama you should read this book.

  4. I would recommend the book Wish, because the book shows the struggles that a girl her age would have to stand up to, in her life, as well as struggles that you may not know. I think the dog gives the story some mystery, along with Charlie's secret wish.
