Ghost (Reynolds)

“Ghost” Cranshaw has been running for three years, ever since the night his father shot a gun at him and his mother. One day, while watching a track practice, he decides to crash a race. Impressed, the coach offers him a spot on the team, with one condition: if Ghost can stop getting into fights at middle school, he can run for the Defenders.

  2. It looked really inserting, I like how the author has ghost on the top right on every page and I thought it was a cool thing to add.

  3. I chose this book because, my prediction was a ghost controlling him because he had a ghost had a spirit with him.

  4. I like how the author made the genre stand out - it's realistic because one of the characters is a runner and I feel what he feels. Also the details the author gives is very impressive.

  5. When I had to get this book I thought it was going to be bad,
once I read it I was amazed it seemed like it was realistic fiction. It was funny, one thing my group laughed at was when the mane character said "John white but he's black."'
